I just got an email from some random AOL address saying (I quote) "can you please send me another syllabus."
That's it. No signature, no course number, nothing. (No subject line, even.)
My response was "Sure! Who are you and what course are you taking from me?"
*grumble*

You're nice. I wouldn't have responded to that. I have an email policy on my syllabus. Now I rarely get emails like that any more.
I'll be coming up with an email policy myself, after the horrors of this semester. I think I also need to somehow enforce the "consult your syllabus before emailing me" policy, if I want the email policy to be effective. ;)
